Cycling
Cycling holidays in Kerry are becoming more and more popular with a number of longer routes of increasing interest. The famous Ring of Kerry route is a long-time favourite and the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle has built up a large following, bringing thousands to Kerry on the first Saturday of July each year. This 175km cycle brings you on a loop of the Iveragh Peninsula passing through the towns and villages of Killarney, Killorglin, Glenbeigh, Cahersiveen, Waterville, Caherdaniel, Sneem and Kenmare.
The Ring of the Reeks is an incredible alternative to its famous sister, but this is a 90km route along narrow winding roads through the heart of the McGillycuddy Reeks . Click here for more information on this incredible spin!
Two great loop routes can be done by using two mountain passes closeby:
– Ballaghasheen Pass to Cahirsiveen and Waterville
– Ballaghbeama Pass to Kenmare and Sneem
